• 👑 If you are a GitHub Organization Admin: The guided tour will help you connect and authorize your entire GitHub organization. This is the recommended path for a holistic, team-wide view of engineering activities, allowing you to see insights across all selected repositories and teams.

• 🧑‍💻 If you are an Individual Contributor (or not an Admin): No problem! You can still explore the full power of EvolveDev. The tour will guide you to connect your individual GitHub account. This is a great way to see insights based on your personal work and the repositories you have access to, allowing you to trial the platform without needing organization-level permissions.

Step 3: Initial Data Synchronization

After you've successfully connected GitHub, EvolveDev begins its initial data sync. This is where we analyze your historical data to build your first set of insights. This process typically takes just a few minutes ⏳.

Here’s how we handle your historical data:

• 🎁 During your Free Trial: We automatically back-sync the last 3 months of your GitHub data. This provides a rich, immediate look at your recent engineering patterns.
• 💳 For Subscribed Customers: Once you convert to a paid plan, this historical look-back is extended to a full 1 year of data, giving you deeper, more comprehensive analytics for trend analysis and reporting.

Step 4: Voilà! Your Insights Are Ready

Once the initial sync is complete, your EvolveDev dashboards come to life! 📈 You'll be directed to your workspace where your first set of insights, charts, and metrics are already populated and waiting for you.
